Merchant Onboarding Policy

DATALOOM offers a secure and streamlined onboarding process for merchants integrating our payment gateway and API services. The terms below outline eligibility, documentation, integration, and operational compliance requirements.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify as a DATALOOM merchant, the applicant must:

  • Be a registered business with SECP or possess valid sole proprietorship documentation
  • Hold a valid CNIC of the authorized signatory
  • Maintain a bank account titled in the business name
  • Offer legal goods or services in accordance with Pakistani law
  • Not operate in restricted sectors such as gambling, narcotics, unregulated forex, or adult content
Required Documentation

Merchants are required to submit the following:

  • SECP registration certificate or business proof
  • CNIC of the director or business owner
  • Bank account maintenance certificate (same-title)
  • Official letterhead for communication
  • Utility bill or tenancy agreement (for address verification)
  • Sample product/service listing or website URL

DATALOOM may request additional documentation depending on business model or risk category.

Technical Integration Guidelines
  • API credentials, sandbox keys, and documentation will be shared upon approval
  • Integration must follow DATALOOM's token and webhook standards
  • API keys must be stored securely; unauthorized sharing may lead to account suspension
  • Integration is expected to be completed within 14 days unless otherwise approved
Operational Responsibilities
  • Merchants are responsible for managing customer service, deliveries, and refund policies
  • Merchant policies must align with DATALOOM’s platform standards
  • DATALOOM reserves the right to audit merchant activities for quality and compliance
  • Standard settlement terms (e.g., T+1 working day) will be agreed upon during onboarding
Suspension and Termination

Merchant access to the platform may be suspended or terminated under the following conditions:

  • Evidence of fraud, illegal activity, or misuse of the platform
  • High dispute or chargeback ratios
  • Failure to maintain updated documentation
  • Breach of integration or operational terms
  • Regulatory or legal directives requiring suspension

These terms are subject to periodic updates. All changes will be communicated via email or platform notifications.
